From serving dishes to coding digits:
Rae Wilbon
After graduating college, serving in the military, and working several serving jobs I didn’t love, I decided to take on something I did: medical billing, coding, auditing and bookkeeping. At Brookline College in 2011, an instructor lit a fire in me that’s still present. I joined her at the company she was working for and that launched my career in authorizations for surgery.
In 2016, I achieved CPC, CRC, HCS-D, and AAPC approved instructor certifications, helping me teach billing and coding at Carrington College and UEI. After realizing that my passion for being an entrepreneur and coding could be combined, I set off on an entrepreneurial journey and created Rae’s the Bar: My very own medical billing, coding, auditing and bookkeeping business.
